Most of the skydiving activity is organized on the peninsula Malaysia, with, from times to times, events organized in Borneo. Of course, most of the activity is controlled by the army and other government organizations (police, fire fighters...), however sports skydiving is a reality, even for civilians and foreigners.
The local skydiving community is trying to improve the organization and to set up permanent drop zones with a regular activity. By now, most of the activity is quite irregular and looks more like a succession of events organised all over the place. However, these events can be a lot of fun and an excellent opportunity to meet other skydivers.
