Tandem

Static Line parachuting is one of the more traditional methods of parachuting. This type of parachute jump will cater to the adventurous spirited, wanting to learn the skills of flying a parachute personally before progressing to the freefall stages of a complete skydiving program.

Before doing a Static Line jump, you will need to attend 6 - 8 hours of ground training. The training covers the basic and essential survival skills necessary for you to make your first jump out of a perfectly flying plane. The static line deploys the parachute for you and then you control and fly the parachute until the landing. Some areas covered in the ground training are:

Static line parachuting can be done on a one time basis or it can be taken up as the start of an entire skydiving program.
